Dont think this needs a spoiler, more background info to the books.
This link takes you to the company who (I think) have the rights to make what seems to be his next film. Its background for me cos I havnt heard of the books (never mind read them). If you follow the links its an audio version of the story.

Ok I`ve added spoiler warning to this, not sure if its necessary, but I post and forget later.
Been mooching about on imdb forum, seems to be postings about kids doing auditions for this here and in the US until quite recently, also comments about script problems, and rumours of huge re-writes. What was interesting was that apparently one of the main characters has been cast as Ian McShane (Lovejoy) think the characters name is Merryweather (dont quote me on that, I dont know the book so the name means nothing) apparently he`s the boys mentor. Which looking at the other characters Ive seen listed suggests that Chris is either one of the parents, or... one of the baddies/sort of baddies, if the descriptions of the rest of the characters are correct (and he is doing this, which I cant find confirmation of)

no i havent seen confirmation... only rumours. is it filmed in the states because i am under the impression he is there for a while...

Hiya!
On the Heroes website there is an interview with Chris talking about going to Romania to start shooting the film. I was hoping Chris would be Merriman as that character is in all the books and is described as having piercing blue eyes and a hawkish nose. Seemed perfect. The other character that brings CE to mind is "The Rider" a baddy who's trying to turn Will, the main character, to the dark. Tim Kring, the producer of Heroes, mentioned working around Chris' filming in an interview also on the Heroes website. He was discussing wanting Chris to reprise the role of Claude.

Hi ya Laura, thanks for the info, presumed that they would want him back on Heroes, but you never know how these things will go. Think you could be right about Rider, this appeared this morning (talk about timing!)

Woke up to read the news! WOOHOO! When I started rereading the book "The Rider" was the character that jumped out at me..." The man was tall, and wore a dark cloak that feel straight like a robe; his hair grew low over his neck...
Towering there...he looked like a statue carved out of night...the blue eyes staring compellingly..." Wonder if they watched "Revenger's Tragedy" before casting?

Oh he also appears now to have a US agent. He's apparently be represented by the Endeavor Talent Agency.

Well he's been with the US agent for a while so I think you're probably right and it's not uncommon for actors to have different US and UK agents.
