"I heard that!" Jack said jokingly through the door as he couldn't just imagine the threates she as making against him right now. He vaguely wondered what Remmy's reaction would be but didn't care much.

Remington burst into laughter. "Well, that's interesting..."
He shook his head and kissed her again.
"If he wants a free show, let him have it," Remington smirked.

Rose giggled.
"Remy! He'll take it as an offer to join, trust me." She grinned, leaning in to kiss him. As she pulled back, she let her forehead rest on his. "You said by destroying your father you wouldn't exist. Surely there's a way to stop him without leading to you disappearing?"
The thought of losing him already tore her apart. She had grown close to him when they were both injured, and now this. She couldn't bare to think that she could lose him soon.

"Well....I will remain, but in this timeline, I will never be created. So if I jump back to my future...well, I doubt my future would be there, or I would be a stranger in my own home," he stated. "My ability does not work in a way that my existence will not be...but, my sister will grow up without a brother...It's hard to explain I guess. You will not lose me. I promise."

"We have to help them." Gwen said urgently, making her way forward, but she was stopped by a man in uniform. "You can't come this way, turn around please." He stated, blocking the way with his arm. "We're Torchwood, now let us through." She demanded, peering around him at the destruction. People lay injured and dying. They had to help. "What's that? A band?" He chuckled, still not letting them through. "Oh bloody brilliant." Owen muttered, coming up beside Gwen and placing a hand on her arm. "Look mate," He turned to the man. "I take it your UNIT." He nodded to the red cap. "Well we're Torchwood, access code: 474317432. Now let us in." Owen told him forcefully, showing him his Torchwood ID card. The UNIT officer stared at them for a moment, before stepping out of the way and letting them through. "Thank you Owen." Gwen murmured, looking up at him before turning back to the destruction. Owen nodded at her. "Tosh, any luck?" He asked, indicating to the gadgets.

The Doctor winced but didn't move when the Master fingers dug painfully into his thigh. He wanted them to be together, but not to fight each other anymore. Which meant one of them had to give in. And it would certainly not be the Master, knowing as well as he did.
"I'm not!" He protested. "You were the one to suggest tea." The grip tightened and he yelped, his hand finding the Master's under the table. "I just want to be with you. Master."
There had been a plan. Had been. Now it really didn't matter, because the Master was here with him, and he wasn't destroying anything, and the edges of the Doctor's psyche sparkled with the closeness of another Time Lord.

Rose nodded, grinning.
"Good. I'm not losing you now."
She kissed him deeply, her arms wrapping around him tightly as she pressed up against him. Jack could wait for now. They would have to go find Sylar, Elle and Noah soon and she wanted to enjoy this. The calm before the storm.

He backed off, hands stuffed straight back into jacket pockets as he bowed his head and retreated.
"I know, I'm sorry." He turned, closed once again, the console seeming ever so intriguing. "But I can promise I can try." He said gruffly as he scanned the surface. The Master and Doctor had jumped, he only had to find the jump path and follow it. It was fresh enough, and there was no temporal damage in this neck of the woods.
The scar stuck out like a sore thumb and the Doctor quickly moved around the console.
"And I can promise." He said over screwing knobs and pumping bike pumps, "That I can try and fix you if things go wrong."
He came to a stand still, hand on the leaver beside him as he looked her straight in the eye.
"Hold tight." He yanked the leaver and the Tardis tipped.

Angela wrapped her hands around the edge of the cosole for support as it began to lurch.
"Where did he go?" She struggled to ask. Her hands were shaking.

He blinked at the Doctor for a few moments and laughed.
"I did didn't I?"
He stood abruptly, knocking over the chair and table, and stepped in between the Doctors legs, fingers still digging into his flesh.
"Let's go for a walk in the park."

The Doctor flinched, but still, he didn't move. The table was lying on its side and the waitress looked terrified, as looked the barmaid. He ought to agree to that walk, if just for their sakes. Plus, he was losing sensations in his thigh.
"Sure," he said tightly.
He stood, bringing them nose to nose, and waited for the Master to step back so he could move. But he didn't. The Doctor pushed his chair back and walked to the door. Walk in the park, sure, he could manage that. He could take whatever time they had left before Nine arrived to be the old Master.

He looked up from his readings, hands clinging to the rail around the console for dear life. Though he had no fear of falling, the experience may be exhilarating, the fear of landing was out standing. He would not let go. He would not lose himself in the same was Angela had. But he dared to hope.
"You can really heal yourself? Does that mean...?"
He didn't want to finish the sentence, and really, it was immaterial with the way her hands were glowing white like the heart of a sun. He could feel the tell tale tingling on his skin that promised radiation burns later on. If he was burned to a crisp there would be no need for her to live. There would be no coming back for him.

Angela nodded. "I stopped myself aging when I hit forty." She smiled. "It was a scary birthday, vanity is a terrible sin. It's the only ability I allowed myself to use." She smiled wildly throught the pain. "I told you I was a bad person."
He looked at though he was about to speak. "And it's rude to ask a lady her age, so don't."

The Master didn't move, he stood fixed like a statue, holding the Doctors gaze. He was in charge here. When the Doctor relented and shoved his chair back, making a scraping on the tile floor, he had to fight to maintain his fixed expression. He followed him to the door, just a few paces behind.
"You Doctor, have always been weak." He whispered in his ear as he stepped outside to find the Doctor waiting for him. He took hold of his hand, pressing palm to palm in an intimate fashion. To passerbys they were just a regular couple. But the Master was stabbing the Doctor with a frosty blast.

He grinned at her, feeling slightly lightened by the comment.
"Well if it helps." He said, schooling his features seriously, and dropping his voice to a whisper. "I'm over 900 years old." He winked, and then returned his attention back to his console.
"They're in London." He said after a moments silence. He pressed one more button and the Tardis tipped roughly once more. This time he did let go.
