The Sontaran Stratagem TrailerMartha Jones summons the Doctor back to modern-day Earth, but an old enemy lies in wait. The Doctor ...... David Tennant Donna Noble ...... Catherine Tate Martha Jones ...... Freema Agyeman Wilfred Mott ...... Bernard Cribbins Sylvia Noble ...... Jacqueline King Luke Rattigan ...... Ryan Sampson Colonel Mace ...... Rupert Holliday Evans General Staal ...... Christopher Ryan Commander Skorr ...... Dan Starkey Jo Nakashima ...... Eleanor Matsuura Private Harris ...... Clive Standen Private Gray ...... Wesley Theobald Ross Jenkins ...... Christian Cooke Worker ...... Rad Kaim Atmos Voice ...... Elizabeth Ryder I hear this is the first of a two parter. For those who are not familiar with the Sontarans, they are a race that reproduces by means of cloning rather than by means of sexual reproduction. They live in a militaristic society obsessed by war. They come from a high-gravity world named Sontar in the "southern spiral arm of the galaxy", and are far stronger than humans. I liked Donna's response to Martha. Not what I expected, but thinking about it, true to her character.
Great retro feel to the episode. Atmosphere of it actually reminded me of some Fifth Doctor episodes.
When Martha started screaming into the radio, did anyone jump into Aqua classics? (dr Jones Dr Jones calling Dr Jones...)
Nice concept. SAT NAV is a menace. Nice to see UNIT and the Sontarans. Shame we didn't get the Brigadier.
Donna, SUPER TEMP. Excellent. Also the conversation about going home was brilliant. The insults come thick and fast, I'm glad she keeps the Doctor under her thumb.
Anyone notice the Medusa Cascade reference?

Yup I noticed the Medusa Cascade reference. Was there a reference to Rose because I think I missed it?
I'm loving Donna's grandad, he's a fantastic character! Still loving Donna the Super temp and the Doc's relationship and the Sontarans look very interesting.
One thing, was that kid American or Irish? Because he sounded American most of the time, but then others he sounded Irish *shrugs* then again, I've never been the best judge on accents so...
