Brilliant production, and keeps to the spirit of the original, but as an excuse to keep it going a bit longer I would quite like the ending to go something like this:
In the scene after Jago tells Othello that the dna results are A B and C and he goes back home to Desi, I think I`d say that they have an almighty row, he packs his bags and walks out leaving Desi distraught. Lulu turns up and tries to get her to answer the door but she wont so she get Jago to come as she worried, he breaks in (as in the original) Desi is in a terrible state, Lulu takes her home with her, leaving Jago to find Othello. As usual he`s playing a double ender, stoking up the facts with Othello than going back to Desi making out that he`s trying to help them patch things up, with both sides trusting him its open house. Othello breaks down and Jago gets his job (as his original plan) . Jago now suggests that Othello should go away for a while(absence makes the heart grow fonder) then gets to work on Desi, shoulder to cry on, good friend etc. etc. then the inevitable, he makes a move on Desi, the type of woman he thought didnt exist-presumes she`ll have a go at dundee cake!(other two wives couldnt be arsed),Lulu would bow to the inevitable-after all he`s a nice man! and Desi needs a nice man right now! Quite what Othello would make of Jago on his return , finding him in possession of job and ex wife would probably be enough material for a short series!
I love a good plot and a good plotter
